Known today 30/6, judge Lucy Koh in the Court of Northern California (USA) has issued a ban on sale of preliminary smartphone Galaxy Nexus when that product violated the Patent No. 8,086,604 related to unified search feature by the U.s. Patent Office granted to Apple. The decision comes after Apple's commitment to indemnify Samsung amount up to nearly 96 million higher if the Court agreed to cancel the ban on selling.
As noted by the Foss Patents, Samsung said that the evidence that Apple introduced in Federal Court is not sufficient to demonstrate that the Galaxy Nexus affect the business of Apple.
