Microsoft announces free upgrade for Windows 8 OEM


Microsoft has officially announced the free upgrade to Windows 7 OEM. Accordingly, the rates would be 60-80 USD for Windows 8, 80-100 USD for Windows 8 Pro and 50-65 USD for Windows RT.


Microsoft also confirmed the scheduled launch of Windows 8 in late October, while the RTM version of the operating system will be released in the first week of August to to user testing.
